[Bug 869839] Re: [Upstream] LibreOffice Impress doesn't export image in odp to PDF
Just tested with LO 3.5.0rc1 (as part of QA/BugHunting Session
3.5.0.-2), and it also doesn't export image to pdf. Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit.
So, I guess it isn't invalid.

3) What is expected to happen in Impress via the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-
libreoffice/+bug/869839/+attachment/2522042/+files/MissingImage.odp &&
loimpress --nologo MissingImage.odp
Export to PDF and open in Adobe Reader is it looks the same.
4) What happens instead is the image is missing. Occurs in Ubuntu
11.04 32-bit LibreOffice 3.3.4 (official Ubuntu version), and 3.4.2.
WORKAROUND: OpenOffice 3.3 on Linux/Windows exports slide correctly.
