The content of the file linked at the Ubuntu bug report[1] are not
shown, only header and footer are.

The file can be displayed with xpdf and acroread but fails to show with
evince and epdfview using poppler 0.18 in Ubuntu 11.10, 12.04 and Fedora
16.

On the command line, the message "Error: Invalid Font Weight" is
printed, hence it may well be a "bad" PDF file -- though xpdf and
acroread seem to handle the situation more gracefully.
