[Bug 918794] Re: a lot of programs don't show
Hi Riccardo! It looks like the database has got out of sync somehow - you may be able to solve this by running the following commands in a terminal window (this may take a few minutes):
sudo update-apt-xapian-index && sudo update-software-center
** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete

Title:
a lot of programs don't show
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When i open the Ubuntu Software Center, the main page looks OK, except
that almost only payment programs appear. Most categories are empty or
with only few programs in it. A lot of programs and packages doesn't
appear in search result (GIMP, for example, does exist anymore).
Repositories are ok, in fact i can install programs with no problem by
line command.
