Then, if I try sudo update-software-center it goes on a loop saying what
i attached in log2.txt over and over.

  a lot of programs don't show

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When i open the Ubuntu Software Center, the main page looks OK, except
  that almost only payment programs appear. Most categories are empty or
  with only few programs in it. A lot of programs and packages doesn't
  appear in search result (GIMP, for example, does exist anymore).
  Repositories are ok, in fact i can install programs with no problem by
  line command.
