Well now it isn't showing up at all.  Can you try again and see if it
works?  If not, check ifconfig and see if maybe it shows up as eth2 or
something?

  Not detect a second network card!

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Do you have computer with Realtek RTL-8139 network card. When I
  connect to the cable, restart the Ubuntu, because it does not detect
  the cable. A few months ago I did not have to reboot when I connected
  the cable.
