[Bug 921542] Re: user switching switches to black screen, never shows login window

 

The log out function has a similar result. However, there is no way to
get to a login screen after choosing log out. After a hard reboot, the
greeter is set to account 2 by default.

  steps:

  1. Have 2 accounts
  2. be logged into one of the account 1
  3. choose the user name for account 2 from the user indicator

  Result:
  1. the screen turns black, and you can never log into account 2
  2. hitting alt-F8 allows you to log into account 1 again

  Expected:
  you can log into account 2
