Title:
conffile prompt on libreoffice upgrade for a file that I don't believe
I touched
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
On upgrading to the latest version of libreoffice-common, I was
prompted what to do about a modified conffile. I don't believe that I
ever modified this file.
Setting up libreoffice-common (1:3.5.0~beta2-2ubuntu3) ...
Configuration file `/etc/libreoffice/sofficerc'
==> Modified (by you or by a script) since installation.
==> Package distributor has shipped an updated version.
What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions
Z : start a shell to examine the situation
The default action is to keep your current version.
*** sofficerc (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ?
The diff is:
$ diff -u /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc*

This machine was originally installed as lucid and upgraded
lucid->maverick->natty->oneiric->precise.
Note that apport indicates /etc/libreoffice/soffice.sh is also a
modified file, and I don't believe I've ever touched that one either.
