[Bug 885784] Re: nm-connection-editor fails when adding wireless with WPA/WPA2 Enterprise and TLS security
When importation fails and you can't save the connection, please see if
there are any related errors in the file .xsession-errors in your home
directory, as well as in /var/log/syslog. There should be something
written out by either nm-applet (in .xsession-errors) or by
NetworkManager itself (in /var/log/syslog) to explain the failure.

Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After setting the userid, the certificate, the private key and its
passphrase (but leaving the CA Certificate open), a message pops up
saying: "Connection add failed / Message did not receive a reply
(timeout by message bus)"
Also tried it on a mint new oneric, booted from USB, with same result.
