[Bug 921722] Re: NM does not respect "don't show this again" button on disconnect notifications
That's most likely a notification coming straight from Gnome-Shell. Not
sure if you really should still have nm-applet running in that case (but
I do think so...).
Regardless, reassigning to the gnome-shell package. It would be helpful
if you could attach a screenshot of the notification that can't be
supressed, just to clarify things.
Thanks!

Title:
NM does not respect "don't show this again" button on disconnect
notifications
Status in “gnome-shell” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Expected behavior: On first disconnect from a network, network-manager
sends a notification "Disconnected - you are now offline". If user
clicks "Don't show this again", no disconnect notification ever
appears again.
Actual behavior: On first disconnect from network, notification
appears in a box ~150px high, with "Don't show this again" button. If
user clicks this button, the 150px high notification never appears
again, but it is replaced by a ~50px high notification with the same
message and no "don't show this again" button.
Environment: Ubuntu 11.10, Gnome Shell (Gnome 3), network-manager-
gnome 0.9.1.90-0ubuntu6.
