Bug description:
  Occurred when I had gedit open in the top-left workspace, then went to
  the bottom-left workspace, made a new file on the desktop using the
  right-click menu, and double-clicked it to open it in a new gedit
  window there. The new window came up grayed out (which the original
  window did, too), and after a few moments both disappeared and this
  crash report came up.
