Same happens to me on precise, firefox 10.0~b5+build1-0ubuntu1.

It's easily reproducible by entering private mode.

  1) release: 11.04
  2) Package version: firefox-globalmenu 4.0~rc2+build3+nobinonly-0ubuntu2
  3) what i expect to happen: global menu of firefox stays in the upper panel
  4) what happened instead: firefox-globalmenu gets lost very often for me. i can't really tell when, but i suspect the "show desktop" or "minimize window" function I use quite often.
