[Bug 922736] Re: Newly updated firefox displays applets incorrectly

Applets display correctly in Firefox this morning after a system restart. Strange.
Sorry for the trouble. This is obviously not a bug. - Rob

Title:
Newly updated firefox displays applets incorrectly

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Downloaded and installed latest Firefox update a few minutes ago.
Restarted Firefox. I had to change print size from 15 to 16 to get the
same displayed size as before. The windows of applets are now
truncated on the right. In other words, the applet window is now too
narrow to fit the whole content of what the applet wants to display.
Nothing crashes. You simply can't see the right-most part of what the
  applet is displaying.

All was working fine immediately before the update. All still works
  fine in Seamonkey and Opera.

You can see an example of an affected applet at
  http://robmorton.20m.com/projects/navigation/airmap/airmap/airmap2.htm

There is still the long-standing and irritating problem with Firefox
that it always defaults to printing on American paper size despite all
my long attempts to get it to default to standard international A4. I
do not use Firefox when I need to print stuff off the web.
