Bug description:
  Installing the newest 3.13 kernel (from Canonical kernel team) on Trusty i386 seems to build well with nvidia-331 driver at first glance.
  But then X fails to start. It has been reported here:  https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/644906/linux/331-20-on-3-13-rc1-kernel/
  and a workaround is also proposed:
  /var/lib/dkms/nvidia-331/331.20/source$ sudo gedit nv-acpi.c  (comment out line 303 -> 311).

  Looking at the make.log, we can see the main errors logged at the
  beginning of the file, then at the end:
