[Bug 1228352] Re: [regression] Alt-Tab for all viewports will not switch viewports when selecting a window on another viewport

Hi,

I have the same issue with Ubuntu 14.10. Something went wrong and I lost
my Unity launcher and panel. I tried to restore them using 'dconf reset
-f /org/compiz/' (read that somewhere) but that did not help. It turned
out my Unity plugin was simply set to inactive so activating it via CCSM
brought Unity back on my desktop.

But now I have the same problem (the scale plugin is also affected since
it will also not switch the active viewport) and I can not restore the
correct behaviour. The launcher is my main viewport switcher but now I
have to switch viewport manually which is a real pain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bug description:
When enabling Alt-Tab for all viewports (instead of only Alt-Tabbing
on the current one), if you select a window that is currently on a
different viewport, that viewport will not be automatically switched
  to.

This also occurs when using the Launcher to select apps in a different
  viewport.
