[Bug 1318314] Re: brightness adjustment does not work on Thinkpad E145

 

Hi @cosama,
With your method, I havea flash of the brightness to the value I set, but it quickly go back to the old value. I have Xorg drivers.
Do you have an idea of what I could do ?

Is there any plan to fix this issue ? It makes linux nearly unusable
with this computer.

  The backlight brightness can not be adjusted with FN backlight hotkeys
  while a indicator will be shown on the top right corner of the screen.
  Changes brightness in system setting gives no effect neither
