Problem still persists even on 4.0.6.2.

Advice in comment #10 is definitely minimizing the manifestation.
Previously, I used to have multiple lines disappear on every page. Even
if I went back to the page hoping the text would appear, most of the
time the text wouldn't appear. I sometimes had to enter spaces to cause
the paragraph to reformat, which most of the time would work, but not
every time.

Now with Advice in comment #10, I have 1 paragraph disappearing in every
3 or 4 pages. This time, the bullet mostly appears, but the text after
the bullet and indentation does not appear.

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open libreoffice-writer

  2. Start a new document

  3. Write a couple of lines of text, e.g.
  Test
  Test123

  4. Scroll down

  Result:
  Some of the text disappears, might reappear when clicking with left mouse button.

  This is a new install on a somewhat recent desktop machine.  Please
  advise if you need further details.

  Additional information:

  I attached a screenshot taken from a test file: all lines should
  contain the example text. It is not shown for some of the lines, some
  are rendered only partially
