[Bug 880626] Re: eog should consider menubar size when creating windows to avoid scaling

Hi all,

This bug is still there. Any image smaller than the desktop should open with 1:1 scaling (no scaling), but all images are just scaled by a little when opened, even if no scroll bar is displayed...
It is no very serious, but just a pity.

Eactly 3 years after this bug was opened, could we have a little update,
or a little fixing? Thanks!

Title:
eog should consider menubar size when creating windows to avoid
  scaling

Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When opening an image, eog creates a window which allows for the image
to be displayed at normal size (i.e., no scaling). But after the
image is drawn, a GtkMenuBar is added to the window. Since the window
does not resize itself after adding the menu bar, the image gets
scaled down to a percentage of its true size.
