Bug description:
  According to pidgin's website:

  "Pidgin 2.10.10 contains important security updates. Please upgrade!"

  It seems Ubuntu 14.10 is running version 2.10.9. Pidgin is cross-
  platform, so it may be that these security concerns my not apply to
  Ubuntu, but I thought I'd at least report this in case they do apply.
