get this error logged into .xsession-errors:
(gnome-panel:26691): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to underallocate PanelWidget's child PanelAppletFrameDBus 0x9f92940. Allocation is 156x32, but minimum required size is 156x48.
