Title:
Tapping doesn't work after resume
Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
My laptop worked out of the box with ubuntu, which I actually expected so I didn't even bother to look in the internet if it does before buying it.
There is one thing that is half-broken, though: If I close the computer it goes into suspend mode. If I open it again it resumes. But like with all other laptops I could test on after booting the computer's touchpad has tapping and two-finger-scroll enabled. After the first resume you can click only using the physical key even if the touchpad works fine otherwise.
Turning off and re-enabling the scrolling functionality in gnome-
control-panel doesn't make scrolling work again.
