Title:
Certificate date format ambiguous and should be in ISO 8601

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unity

The date format used in the Certificate dialog is ambiguous and
confusing. Another, unambiguous format should be used so that which
part is the day and which part is the year are clear. For example.
08/05/2010 could be May 8th or August 5th depending on the
interpretation. Better to have it spelled out 05 Aug 2010 or 08 May
2010 or even better, use the international standard ISO 8601 for the
  date: 2010-05-08
