CONFIRMED with LO 3.0.0 (OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4) +
Ubuntu 14.04

Saving the example odp file as FODP, reopening it, and then examining
the master slide shows the duplication.

Bug description:
  Once converted a presentation to flat ODP format all master
  fields(page number...etc.) are duplicated and not removable after
  editing file and reload.
