Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Fresh install of ubuntu 14.10 (daily build 2014/7/10)

  open software center, search for ardour, install -
  > screen darkens 
  > application is not responding
  > force quit

  open software center again, installation finishes.
