Title:
replacment for gnome-media
Status in “gnome-media” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
All parts of gnome-media are dead:
- gst-mixer and gstreamer-profiles are not used by gstreamer 1.0, so they just pull old dependencies
- gnome-sound-recorder is not working too
As replacement I suggest this source: https://github.com/olerem/gnome-
recorder.
I removed gst-mixer and gstreamer-profiles. Grecorder ported to gstreamer-1.0 and added some methadata.
I also started source refactoring and cleaning.
My next todo is to save files directly to some directory: For example Music/Records or something like this. Suggestions are welcome.
