Title:
Display setting can render desktop inoperable on low res screen
Status in “unity-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
In the Display settings; By changing the "scale for menu and title
bars" to a high setting on a non-ultra HD screen, one can easilly
render the whole desktop inoperable, without an easy way back. A user
should not be able to do this so easilly without even a warning (it's
enough to slide it, and your desktop becomes so large that nothing can
be used anymore).
Reproduction path:
* On a "low resolution screen" (in my case full-HD).
* Go to Display Settings in unity-control-center and slide the "Scale for menu and title bars" bar to the right.
* Result: A desktop large enough for 5 icons to fit on the screen.
There is no easy way back afterward.
