Title:
  laptop video output garbage

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In my DELL Laptop (Precision M90) for some months and in a randomly
manner my video output (monitor) just sends me garbage (like an out of
sync). Even if I go to the console (Ctrl+F1) the video is in 'garbage
mode'. Some times this problem doesn't happens one day but the next
day may occur 2 or 3 times :-S.

My only workaround is to go to suspend (Stand by) mode (Fn+Esc in my
laptop) and when I wake up my laptop all is fine.

I have the latest BIOS and proprietary nvidia-glx-new drivers. I did
not find any thing abnormal in the Xorg log files after wake up from
  the suspend state.

Please Help me. I'm getting desperate...
