Bug description:
I just noticed that compiz' EGL code calls eglWaitGL on every frame
which appears to be pointless. We don't need and certainly don't want
to synchronize on every frame. That prevents the CPU and GPU from
operating in parallel, which could have a significant performance
impact on some systems.
