[Bug 1394338] Re: gnome-terminal's menu is missing "File/Open Tab"
I have it in mine. Most of the things like file edit and what not have
been moved to the top tray where it shows the time, but on the left hand
side. I hated this behavior. To fix it
System Settings ~ Appearance ~ Behavior ~ Show the menus for a window ~
