Title:
2.4.1 doesn't lock open documents
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “openoffice.org” source package in Hardy:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I am running office 2.4.1 on Hardy 32 bit with LTSP set-up.
Documents and spreadsheets opened with openoffice by different thin
client users are not protected. In version 3.0 and higher this problem
is solved. Unfortunately version 3.0 is not envisioned to be included
in Hardy. Hardy will be in use another 9 months in productive
environments where this bug can lead to complete data loss if a
document or spreadsheet is edited at the same time by different users.
