Title:
firefox "Warning: Unresponsive script" dialog fails to wrap text in
  URL path

Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser:
  Unknown
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

On a Maverick i386 system with firefox 3.6.15+build1+nobinonly-
0ubuntu0.10.10.1, Firefox's "Warning: Unresponsive script" dialog
wrapped text (i.e. inserted a line break) before a slash in the URL's
path, but did not wrap any subsequent text, perhaps because it did not
contain any further / characters. The attached screenshot shows the
problem. A look at the workspace switcher panel applet at the lower-
right corner of the screen reveals that, due to this failure to wrap
text, the "Warning: Unresponsive script" dialog box was three times as
wide as the desktop itself. It was possible to drag the dialog box to
the left in order to see the rest of the URL and click the buttons,
but this is a nuisance and that workaround (and others) would likely
not be apparent to novices. Furthermore, that Firefox will wrap a URL
at all in this dialog box (i.e. at slashes where appropriate, and
possibly under other conditions) suggests that the intent is to ensure
that it remains readable, which at minimum I think indicates that the
dialog box should not contain lines rendered longer than the width of
  the screen's viewable area.

I do not know JavaScript, so I cannot easily reproduce this problem
and determine precisely under what conditions it occurs or whether or
not it is specific to Ubuntu. I doubt it only happens in Ubuntu, but
since I cannot be sure of that, I have not marked it as affecting the
upstream project Firefox, nor have I reported this upstream.
