gftp-gtk crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke() while downloading
a directory and its content, without any human interaction

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gftp
Apparently it works perfectly, all other operations seems to be ok,
but when downloading a directory with its data to the local computer
it crashes after about five minutes. First the transfer gets stalled,
and after the application crashes.
