Same problem here, reproducible when viewing YouTube videos, new google
Maps and other pages:

chromium-browser --version: Chromium 39.0.2171.65 Ubuntu 14.04

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, kernel  3.13.0-40-generic

Tests performed:
   - fresh install
   - disable all pluggins
   - new user profile

None of the above fixed the problem.

Title:
  Aw, snap! In chromium after youtube video

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Since the latest software update I  get  the Aw, snap! error
  frequently at the end of youtube videos. I can watch the whole video,
  afterwards chromium displays the grid with related videos for about a
  second and than the pages crashes (Aw snap!)
