Title:
the user interface is not displayed while it seems to be downloading
Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
Expired
Status in evolution package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.10 and I get the brand new Evolution. When I start it, it remains hidden. Perhaps because of the 1 GB mail I started to POP-download. (Before I started POP-ping, it worked fine.)
When I run it from terminal, it says:
username@computername:~$ evolution
** (evolution:7036): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:7036): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution
(evolution:7036): camel-WARNING **: Could not find key entry for word
'here were variations of letters and numbers': Sikerült
(evolution:7036): camel-WARNING **: Could not open converter for 'latin-1' to 'UTF-8' charset
(evolution:7036): camel-WARNING **: Could not find key entry for word
'here were variations of letters and numbers': Sikerült
And so on till I killall evolution. That's why I think it's
downloading POP-mails, without GUI.
