Bug description:
  [Impact]
  File channel resources are not cleaned up during destroy_registration().

  [Test Case]
  Run valgrind and check that no memory is leaked from the libgrip library on shutdown.

  [Regression Potential]
  Practically none. Explicit cleanup was added, should be more robust. Any regressions are likely to be found when destroying registration, such as when the application shuts down.
