Title:
LibreOffice Writer no longer splits a table cell vertically
Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
This used to work correctly. When I tried recently to split a
LibreOffice Writer table cell into two or more horizontally aligned
sub-cell columns ("vertical split"), the split was made horizontally,
resulting in additional lines within the cell instead of additional
columns within the cell, as intended.
When horizontal split is chosen, the same effect results. That is,
both cell split options produce identical results.
I'm running Ubuntu 14.04, with all updates current (to within a week).
I first discovered this problem about a month or two ago.
