  Occasional loss of focus in the input text field

Bug description:
  Sometimes after launching an app via the Dash Home, then next time the
  Dash is opened it does not accept input into the text field unless the
  user clicks inside the text field first.  The correct behaviour is for
  the Dash search box to always accept input as soon as the Dash is
  opened. This is a hard bug to reproduce, sometimes it works many times
  in a row before the bug occurs.  Perhaps there is a timing issue
