[Bug 1400186] Re: [VGN-A690, Realtek ALC260] No sound at all internal speakers and headphone (Green out)

no speaker node but many inputs which prevent auto mic selection

you have to add speaker node and remove some non exist input source by
hda jack retask

Title:
[VGN-A690, Realtek ALC260] No sound at all internal speakers and
  headphone (Green out)

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have tried using different options in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf. Without probe_mask=1 it also detects a Conexant modem.

I just discovered there is sound output from the rear A/V Out port of
the laptop, but there is popping whether or not audio is playing.
