you need to discuss with the author how to assign the playback volume
name when you have three outputs

internal speaker, headphone and replicator output

Title:
[VGN-A690, Realtek ALC260] No sound at all internal speakers and
  headphone (Green out)

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have tried using different options in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf. Without probe_mask=1 it also detects a Conexant modem.

I just discovered there is sound output from the rear A/V Out port of
the laptop, but there is popping whether or not audio is playing.
