Title:
Displayed Image on TFT is 2 pixels off, of what it normally should be
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-driver-trident
I have an older Laptop, Gericom Supersonic A440 1Ghz.
It has a 1024x768 TFT Display and a Trident Cyberblade i1 Graphics Adapter.
When I use the "trident" driver in xorg.conf, the displayed image is 2 pixels off to the right. That means, I have 2 lines of pixels missing at the right side of the display and 2 black/blank lines at the left.
I bootet Knoppix, and there I didn't have this problem (though it was using the "trident" driver!)
The only way I can have it working in kubuntu, is to use the "vesa" driver, but then X needs more of RAM, than with the trident driver.
So this should be fixed, maybe just by updating the trident driver to the most recent version?
