No, I can't and I don't want.
I left Ubuntu and switched to Manjaro because I had plenty of bugs where non of them were fixed. 
I will close this bug now.

  Launching an Application via Unity results in Unity hang

Bug description:
  This happens rarely but it makes Unity hang. You need to restart it
  via another VT which results in pretty poor performance.

  1. Hit Meta-Key select an application and launch

  Actual Result: Unity opens the application window and freezes

  Proposed Result: The application just opens.
