the problem is solved,with this:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo apt-get install fglrx-amdcccle
sudo amdconfig --initial

Status in xserver-xorg-video-nouveau package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Hi i just installed ubuntu 14.10,after booting i can see my desktop background i also can log in,changing from desktop to terminal, but every time i go to desktop i only see the background image with no icons or menu bar.
I've tried sudo apt-get "update,upgrade,xserver-xorg-core,ubuntu-desktop,etc" and i only see background image,any ideias?the grephic card is ati 5470....
