Bug description:

I'm currently running 3.8.4 on Ubuntu 13.10.
While using an xmpp account in empathy, if I receive a new message notification in the Unity mail
icon dropdown (top), when I click on it, the chat window does not show the new
message. The title for that chat window has (-1) on it, which I believe indicates it is trying to show the previous message.
