[Bug 1311237] Re: Pepper Flash needs backport to 12.04

Hi, is there any luck whatsoever that this bug could be fixed? I'm
running 12.04 LTS and I don't really want to upgrade as I have zero time
for that. I have no problems with Firefox but everytime I use Chromium
on this machine (12.04 LTS), I need to suffer and switch browsers
because flash does not work here no matter what I do (on Chromium).

I hope someone will fix that soon but all what I see is an action 2
months ago and nothing further ...

Title:
Pepper Flash needs backport to 12.04

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in pepperflashplugin-nonfree package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in pepperflashplugin-nonfree package in Baltix:
  In Progress

Bug description:
Now that this package is officially the only way to run flash on
chromium it should be backported to 12.04, since that release is still
supported until 26 April 2017. And I suppose 13.10 as well, but that's
probably less pressing. Debian has released this package for wheezy,
jessie, & sid, as you can see from the following rmadison output:

  debian:
   pepperflashplugin-nonfree | 1.2~bpo70+1 | wheezy-backports/contrib | source, amd64, i386
   pepperflashplugin-nonfree | 1.3 | jessie/contrib | source, amd64, i386
   pepperflashplugin-nonfree | 1.3 | sid/contrib | source, amd64, i386
  ubuntu:
   pepperflashplugin-nonfree | 1.3ubuntu1 | trusty/multiverse | source, amd64, i386
