[Bug 1226842] Re: Remmina presents black screen when using as VNC client

 

Sam Ulick, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Raring reached EOL on January 27, 2014.

Is this an issue on a supported release? If so, please execute the following via a terminal as it will gather necessary debugging information:
apport-collect 1226842

As well, please provide click-for-click steps to reproduce this problem,
as well as the OS you were trying to remote into.

  Remmina presents black screen when using as VNC client

Status in remmina package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When connecting to another Ubuntu machine (via VNC), Remmina connects
  and I can control the remote machine, but my client displays just a
  black screen and I'm unable to see anything.

  Not sure if this is relevant, but the remote box is actually a
  VirtualBox install of Ubuntu on the same machine.
