[Bug 993724] Re: Left-click stops working after suspend
I still have this exact same problem on 14.04 x64 (but it's been around
since 12.04). It happens on new installs of either Ubuntu release.
Thankfully, the workaround here still functions and saved me a lot of
trouble ("modprobe -r usbhid" followed by "modprobe usbhid"). The only
alternative is to reboot the system.
I'm not sure what else you might want from me. If I knew anything about
writing drivers, I'd try to find the bug myself, but I'm not even sure
where to start looking.

Title:
Left-click stops working after suspend
Status in xserver-xorg-input-evdev package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Starting directly after the upgrade to precise, left-click stopped
working after suspends. Neither touchpad nor external mouse can do
left click, but both can move and to right-click. Restarting X solves
the problem.
This seems similar to #809894 but also different, as for me only left-
click breaks, but in the other bug all clicks break.
