run "hp-wificonfig -g" on your terminal and provide us the output of

  I have the latest  HPLIP proprietory tools  and am "locate wireless hardware on the device " unable to locate wireless hardware on device" and so  "unable to turn on wireless adaptor "
  Device seems to be found but that is where it stops.
