  PCI/internal sound card not detected

Bug description:
  I have no sound in my laptop since I had installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

  Recently, while going through the ubuntu forum to seek solution for it
  I used the command:

  aplay -l

  output was:

  aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found...

  Pls help...
