  Display Brightness not saved for GDM

Status in gnome-power-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi.
  I just updated from Jaunty to Karmic. I always have my notebook's display brightness set as low as possible.
  But now when the GDM login screen is shown it always switches to full brightness...
