The bug is not easy to reproduce and won't show up with a fresh install.
So it may be related to my config. But I wouldn't like to loose my
email, so I'm not eager to delete .cache/evolution folder.

Any ideas please?

  Rearranging window parts impossible

Status in evolution package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi there,

  currently with evolution on Ubuntu 14.04 (recent updates) I'm unable
  to resize the window components. I'm trying to broaden the size of the
  listview window at the right or moving the vertical bar up, which
  delimits the list of emails top from preview window above. However,
  the window display begins to flicker and the position snaps back into
  the old one. What is more, the starting size of the evolution main
  window is not memorized. It's very small now and every time I start
  evolution I have to resize to get a proper view.
