Title:
chrome contents pane blank when window size larger than a particular
  area

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When browsing, if I maximize the window, or simply resize it past a
certain point, the content disappears, and I only see the tabs and URL
bar. The remaining content below is simply white. If I un-maximize,
or resize the window to be smaller, the content reappears.

It seems like if I make the window's area larger than some amount, the
contents disappear. Meaning, if I shrink the window's width, I can
make it taller before the contents disappear.

I have logged into my X session with "classic (no effects)", to rule
out compiz. The issue still appears there. I am using the ATI
  accelerated driver "fglrx" version 2:8.840-0ubuntu4.

I just recently installed 11.04, and I want to say that I did not see
this problem until I installed the updates post installation.
